history:

The Bimbo bear was created in 1945. Drawn by Anita Mata, wife of co-founder Jaime Sendra, he became an instant icon and has been the face of Bimbo bread ever since. Over the years, his image has changed, but the fun youthful spirit of nutrition and active play he represents remains the same.
